GENTLEMAN cologne by Givenchy

I am 37 years old. I have worn Gentleman nearly every day since I was 19 years old. People tell me that when they encounter someone else wearing this scent, they are momentarily confused because they associate this scent with me (and it is so uncommon in Minneapolis). I miss being able to find the talc anywhere any more. Every time I have to get more, I am terrified that I may find that it has been discontinued. Please, Givenchy, never stop making this cologne -- the thought of having to find another fragrance after all these years terrifies me!

I do love this scent. It is so refined.
I love that pachouli element too, so earthy. I find it is just lovely when a man wears this scent. Bravo Givenchy!

In 1983, my father Richard first introduced "Gentelman" to me; I live and work in Beverly Hills and of the 7 fragrances I use, hands down-I get more compliments when I wear Gevenchy Gentlemen than any other scent.

Strangely, I'm a woman writing about this cologne. I had smelled it on a salesperson whom had left the area and I hadn't seen him until he came back through to leave. The aroma lingered so pleasantly I was in a state of pure bliss. I had to ask him what it was and he told me. This happened over 20 years ago and ever since I purchased this as gifts for my male family and friends.

After using this product in the early 1980s, I shelved it for the ensuing twenty plus years. I began using it again two years ago and have received more positive comments,(some even from strangers)than I'd received about any of the many colognes I used over those twenty years.

I have always loved this scent too. My husband has used it exclusively for about 25 years and always gets asked about what his scent is. We want to know what happened to the face balm. He loved it.
